Thrust ball bearings

RKB thrust ball bearings are available in both single direction and double direction design. They can take axial loads only and can accomodate initial misalignments if sphered housing washers are used.

Single direction thrust ball bearings

Single direction thrust ball bearings are composed of a shaft washer, a housing washer and a cage-ball assembly. Series 511, 512, 513, and 514, with flat housing washers, can support only axial forces in one direction and cannot stand any radial load and misalignment. Series 532 and 533 can take axial forces in one direction, but, having sphered housing washers and matched with seat washers U2 and U3, they can compensate shaft misalignments.

Double direction thrust ball bearings

Double direction thrust ball bearings consist of a shaft washer, two housing washers and two cage-ball assemblies. They can take axial loads in both directions, and are particularly suitable for applications requiring good limiting speeds.
